Marianela Vega
Born in Peru in 1978, she is a filmmaker, professor, and archivist. She holds an MFA in Film Directing from the University of Texas, a Master in Archiving and Preservation from the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, and has been a fellow of the American Film Showcase. She founded Blue Producciones in 2002, an independent production company that has made seven short films and one feature film exhibited in festivals and galleries around the world. “Rodar contra todo” (2016) won the Best Documentary Feature award at Le Festival de Cinéma Péruvien à Paris. Since 2022, she has co-directed the Master’s in Documentary Film at the Instituto de Cine Madrid. Born : Unknown
