Kenny Perez

Kenny Perez is a world renowned martial artist and tai chi expert with nearly 50 years of experience. He trained in Beijing, China under top coaches, and is a pioneer who helped bring the Chinese martial art of Wushu to Arizona. Perez is also a member of the Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Under the guidance of Coach Wu Bin, Perez trained alongside talented classmates Jet Li and Donnie Yen. Perez is the only U.S. wushu athlete to be awarded the ranking of 8th Duan under Master-Coach Wu Bin— his most notable achievement to date. Along with teaching classes at DMA Tai Chi Fitness & Wellness center, he is an adjunct faculty member at Glendale Community College. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Spanish. Born : Unknown

Jimmy and Tiger are members of the Chinese national wushu team. The two are in Los Angeles to perform exhibitions. However, for Tiger, he plans to defect to L.A. to make a name for himself. When Jimmy learns of Tigers plan to defect, an attempt to stop him fails and Jimmy ends up missing his flight to China. Now a fish out of water, Jimmy's only hope is Andy, a wisecracking youngster in L.A. Meanwhile, Tiger works for a mafia boss. When Tiger loses a fortune in cocaine in a detergent box that Andy accidentally took, Andy and Jimmy soon have no choice but to face the wrath of Tiger and his men. Their only ally is Penny, the girlfriend of Tiger's boss. Two men who were once best friends have now become bitter enemies.

Mismatched Couples

Eddie (Donnie Yen) is a young man good at both fighting and breakdancing. His cousin Stella (May Lo) has a crush on him, but apparently he loves someone else. Eddie creates trouble when he tries to help out Mini (Yuen Woo-Ping), a hawker whose business is confiscated by the cops. Mini ends up moving in with Stella, Eddie, and his sister (Wong Wan-Si), leading to possible romance as the mismatched couples struggle to get by beneath the same roof. But a powerful fighter named Power (Dick Wei) admires Eddie's skills, and challenges him to a duel. Eddie refuses, so Power kidnaps Stella to get his way. With no choice remaining Eddie, decides to meet Power for a showdown.
