Shambhu Bhattacharya (1935 – 26 January 2018) was a Bengali actor and stage artist. Bhattacharya started his acting career in theatre in Kolkata. He worked in several stage productions of Utpal Dutt, Jahor Roy, and Rabi Ghosh. He was a bodybuilder from Baghbazar Bayam Samity. Bhattacharya became popular mainly for his antagonistic role in Bengali films. His performances in Sagina Mahato, Agnishwar, Sanyasi Raja, Amanush, Marjina Abdulla and Charmurti were remembered by film critics. He died in a private nursing home on 26 January 2018 in Kolkata. Padi Pishir Barmi Baksha

Khoka is a schoolboy who goes to his uncle's house, where he learns about the tales of Padi Pishi (Aunt Padi), a formidable widow. She had once gone to Khuro's house to meet him, but bandits attacked her. When Khuro got to know about it, he offered her bribes from his loot so that the news would not be public. Padi Pishi then took a precious Burmese box that was hidden in Khuro's house. Before Padi's Pishi's death, she did not reveal the hiding place to anyone except her son Goja. The entire family searched for the missing box but could not recover it. A private detective also searched for the box but could not find it. The story is about how it is finally discovered. Padi Pishir Barmi Baksha is an Indian Bengali adventure comedy film directed by Arundhati Devi. It is based on the children's novel of the same name by Leela Majumdar.

After that, the robbers successfully traced those hidden treasures, entered the city, and found Alibaba. But Marjina and Abdullah understand their plans and catch them by their sheer intelligence and wit.

Rodon Bhara Basanta

However, when he sees Karuna his world is turned upside down. Karuna is Shukla, Somnath’s long-lost wife. Circumstances had led her to become a puppet in the hands of the gangsters. However, she is to keep mum about the entire conspiracy, lest they kill her only daughter. Somnath gives assurance to Karuna to speak the truth. She does that and, in the end, the entire gangster network is caught. Karuna’s daughter is proved to be Somnath’s daughter. They get together again.

Chhakari's son Nakari tries a new stratagem: he promises Bancharam Rs 400 every month provided Bancharam bequeaths his garden to the landowner after his death. Bancharam agrees but amazingly becomes healthier with every passing day, repeatedly promising to die but failing to do so.
