This Is My Moon

Set in a Northern border village during the Sri Lankan Civil War, a Sinhalese soldier meets a Tamil girl in the battlefield. The soldier leaves the army with the girl, and goes back to his village. The arrival of the Tamil girl into this predominantly Sinhala village causes a stir within the community, where they collectively decide to send her to a refugee camp. "This is My Moon" is a controversial examination of village life, where rural myths are shattered to reveal a deeper reality of a society torn apart by war.

He moved to England to live and work, and the film, which combines drama and documentary, is a personal account of his "negotiation of his personal history".

Suhada Koka

The film starts with a release of peoples' vote of government election, where Rajamanthri (Vijaya) lost his seat and crying with his allies. However, his secretary Sumanasiri (Rodney) revealed that the winning member has been hospitalized after hearing the shocking news of that he won the election of the seat. Rajamanthri and crew went to the hospital and finally the winning member died and Rajamanthri won the seat. After winning the seat, he started to celebrate the win, but his fellow ministers (Priyantha and Jayasiri) started to make actions against him. However, with many funny incidents, Rajamanthri pass all the battles with the help of his allies. Meanwhile, Liyana Mahaththaya (Lal), clark (Mihira) and Kalu mudalali (Giriraj) proposed an Awurudu Ulela to impress Chief minister Narendrasinghe (Sathischandra).

A female voluntary teacher convinces the Major about his Extra/Additional responsibility and tells what use of his many gallantry medals if people next door sleep in jungle at night or farmers languish in hunger without being able to cultivate. The Major, through army, trains the Home guards, turn them into a formidable force who protect the village when terrorists launch next attack to wipe out village.
