Kevin Miles

Kevin Miles (born 17 April 1929) is an Australian retired actor of theatre, television and film best known for small screen his role as Godfrey Carson in the Australian legal drama Carson's Law. Miles also appeared in Delta (1969), Dynasty (1970) and The Power, The Passion (1989). Miles started his career in theatre in 1949 and TV roles from 1955, he was best known for his roles in TV serials and telemovies until retiring in 1997. Born : 17th-Apr-1929

The Cars That Ate Paris

After the death of his brother on the road, unemployed and unstable drifter Arthur Waldo stays for a while in the rural Australian town of Paris as the guest of the mayor, who hopes he will become a permanent member of the Paris population. Arthur soon realizes the quaint hamlet has a sinister secret: they orchestrate car accidents and rob the victims. Survivors are brought to the local hospital, lobotomized, and used for a local doctor's experiments.

Carson's Law

Godfrey Carson - Carson's Law is an Australian television series made by Crawford Productions for the Ten Network between 1983-1984. The series was a period piece set in the 1920s and starred Lorraine Bayly as progressive solicitor Jennifer Carson. The episodes revolved around the cases taken on by Jennifer, and the various personal intrigues of her family. The series' premiere was billed as a 90-minute "movie-length" episode on 24 January 1983, with another two-hour episode in the same timeslot the following night, before settling into its twice-weekly 60-minute (with ads) format the following week. Carson's Law was noted for its quality scripts and period production values, however although the programme was very popular in Melbourne where the series was based and filmed, it did not succeed in Sydney. It was cancelled in 1984 after 184 episodes with the final episode airing on ATV-10 on 1 December 1984.
