El sueño del regreso

A handful of immigrants make a bittersweet pilgrimage back to the land of their birth in this comedy drama. Ten people who have little in common beyond the fact they were all originally from Puerto Rico and now live in New York, discover they've won a contest giving them each a free, all-expenses paid vacation -- in Puerto Rico. While some are eager to visit the place they once called home, others are nervous about what they will find and wary about confronting the people and things they left behind.

Victoria, and the Pursuit of Happiness

Victoria is a beautiful, successful, upper middle class lawyer; but very unsatisfied with her private life. She is all consumed by her high pressure career and there is little time left to find love. It all changes when she meets Fat, a rap singer that becomes her client. Although at first Victoria has reservations because of her prejudices, she discovers in him a person that, unlike her, enjoys his life and follows his dreams. Through their relationship Victoria learns there is more to life than succeeding, there is also living. Perhaps love is meant to happen instead of being pursued.

Laura, the prettiest “rockera” in their school, is trying to regain her popularity after her friends reject her for being a flirt. During a mix up at their high school, Laura and Javier are forced to enter a TV dance contest. In order to win, the snotty rich girl and the guy from the wrong side of the tracks have to discover that comedy and teenage angst move to same beat.
