Adrian Kwan is a Hong Kong film director, screenwriter and actor. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Video from the University of Regina in the province of Saskatchewan in Canada, and a Master of Arts in Filming from the MetFilm School in London, England. He has directed and written more than twenty feature films, short films, and documentaries including L3000; DeathZone; Find Your Voice; Little Big Master; Team of Miracle: We Will Rock You; The Miracle Box; 6 Am; If You Care; and Life Is a Miracle. Since dropping out from the medical school, Lau Mack has been living a humble but contented life, running a small clinic in a shabby area, treating local inhabitants and poor prostitutes working there. One night, he escorts an injured gun robber to the government hospital, where he unexpectedly meets his old friend from college time, Dr. Jaw, now a reputed surgeon with an aspiration for senior management.
