Ale McHaddo
Ale Mchaddo is a trans-woman director, writer, and producer, who graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP) with a master’s degree in Interactive Narratives. She has collaborated on over 44 Toons at one of the most important animation studios in Brazil and is president of the Brazilian Association of Animation Companies. Ale McHaddo’s career started in 1996 with the launch of the adventure game, The Shynx Enigma, one of the best-selling games in Brazil to this day. Working as a Game Designer and Film Director, Ale has directed many award-winning shorts like "Killer Lasagna", "Osmar", "the Heel of the Loaf", and the controversial "D. on Ice". She is the creator, director, and showrunner of the animated series "Newbie and the Disasternauts", and "Osmar the First Slice of the Loaf". Ale’s first feature film was 2017's Gadgetgang in Outer Space. Since 2017 Ale has gone on to direct several live-action films as well. In 2021 the comedy Just Short of Perfect was released on Netflix, conquering the top 10 position in many countries and becoming the most-watched movie in a non-English language. Born : 8th-Jul-1973
