Akio Kato (加藤亮夫, Katō Akio, born September 1, 1960) is a Japanese actor and seiyū (voice actor) born in Tokyo. He is affiliated with Aksent. He formerly belonged to the Japanese theater company Bungakuza. In the past, he played small roles in television dramas. His special skills are piano and synthesizer and his hobby is rugby. Pecola is an orphaned penguin who lives with Pecolias, his grandfather. Cube Town is a small, isolated coastal village that contains an art museum, a beach, a lighthouse, and a canal. It is located adjacent to Crescent Bay surrounded by the Rookery Mountains coastal range and serviced by regular ships which deliver mail, food, and other supplies, as well as occasional tourists from a nearby metropolis named Cubic City. The heights above it lead into Glacier Valley which is snowbound even during summer.
