Steven Tandy

Steven Tandy (born 23 October 1952) is an Australian stage, television and film actor. He is best known for playing Tom Sullivan, the second eldest son in the classic Australian television series The Sullivans. After graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1971, Tandy landed the role in the Australian television series The Sullivans. Since then he has appeared often in film and stage roles. For thirteen years he played the role of Commodore Lassard in the Police Academy Stunt Show at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland. He returned to NIDA in 1995 to study directing. Born : 23rd-Oct-1952

The Unisexers

- The Unisexers is an Australian television soap opera made by Cash Harmon Television for the Nine Network in 1975. The series was produced by the same company that had made the smash hit soap opera Number 96. The Unisexers focused on a group of young people - both male and female - living together in a commune arrangement in the old house of a retired elderly couple whose children had left home. The youngsters set up a business making denim jeans to be worn by both sexes, hence the title of "Unisexers". The cast included: Tina Bursill, Josephine Knur, Steven Tandy, Tony Sheldon, Delore Whiteman, Walter Pym, Jessica Noad and Patrick Ward. The series, hampered by an early evening time slot, failed to find an audience and was cancelled and removed from the television schedules after three weeks on air. A one hour premiere episode and fifteen thirty-minute episodes were broadcast.

Rafferty's Rules was one of the first programs undertaken by the Seven Network's then new in-house drama unit, going into production in May 1985 as "a 15-part courtroom drama". The program had started out as a pilot episode, recorded in early 1984 with the actor Chris Haywood in the lead role. When the pilot episode was remounted later in 1984, Chris Haywood wasn't available and the lead role was re-cast to John Wood.
