Jim Goodwin (21 May 1929 – 18 May 1980; age 50) was an actor whose career was a small body of work stretched over almost two decades, from 1961 through 1979. In that time, he had small roles in two films and a dozen television guest appearances, three of which were in Star Trek: The Original Series as John Farrell. Born : 21st-May-1929

Gunfight in Abilene

Fighting in the Civil War a man accidently kills his friend. Returning to Abilene after the war he finds his former sweetheart about to marry the brother of the man he killed. To pay his debt he not only refuses to win her back but takes the job of Sheriff, a job he doesn't want, when the brother asks him. Still haunted by the killing he refuses to carry a gun. But there is trouble between the ranchers and the farmers and when he finds the brother murdered he straps on a gun and heads after the killer.

Climax! ran for four years - This was an anthology series that presented a different story and different set of characters on each episode. It ran from 1954 to 1958 and featured Casino Royale of James Bond fame that lead to a feature film of the same titles. On August 9th, 1956 - they showed No Right to Kill directed by Buzz Kulik and starring John Cassavetes, Robert H. Harris, Joe Mantell and Terry Moore.
