Andrey Mironov

Andrei Aleksandrovich Mironov (07/03/1941-16/08/1987) was one of the most popular and beloved Soviet stage and film actors. He acted in many acclaimed comedy films such as "The Diamond Arm" and "The Unbelievable Adventures of Italians in Russia." One of his most notable roles was in the television film "The 12 Chairs," where he played the leading role of Ostap Bender. He died in 1987 at the age of 46 as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage. Eventually, in 1995, most of the episodes were released on DVD. It was directed by Anatoly Reznikov, and the screenplay was written by Arkady Hayt. Boris Savelyev wrote the score. The cinematography was by Ernst Gaman, Igor Shkamarda, and Vladimir Milovanov. Nelli Kudrina did the sound. His catchphrase is - "Let's live in friendship, guys". The catchphrases of the mice are "Come out, Leopold!" by one and "Come out, you foul coward!" by the second.
