Chantal Contouri (born 1950) is a Greek-Austrlaian television actress and former dancer, best known for her role in the 1970s soap opera Number 96, as nurse Tracy Wilson. Contouri was born in Greece in 1950, the family emigrated to Australia aboard an Italian ship Castel Felice in 1954; and settled in Adelaide, where Contouri attended Adelaide High School, where she learned English, after leaving home she started her career as a dancer, and appeared on music show Kommotion, before venturing into acting. She was the first Greek actress to win a Logie Award. She has had guest and recurring roles in series and soap opera and Australian films. Born : 1st-Jan-1950

Olivia Newton-John: Hollywood Nights

In this variety special, Olivia shares the evening with Andy Gibb, Elton John, Ted Knight, Gene Kelly and Toni Tennille. The special included songs from Grease and the Totally Hot album as well as some other artists' covers : the Eagles, Bob Seger, Elton John and Buddy Holly. Olivia also performed a parody of the jazz/blues classic Makin' Whoopee with Gene Kelly, changing the lyrics to Makin' Movies and dealing with Olivia's dream of producing a musical. The show was aired internationally and did very well in the ratings, as did her two previous US television specials on the same network. It is to be noted that Tina Turner's appearance on Olivia's special helped her sign a contract with then Olivia's manager Roger Davies, who ultimately helped her to go back into the spotlight.

Alvin Purple

Christine - Alvin Purple was an Australian television situation comedy series made by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1976. The series followed continued adventures of the title character, previously featured in successful sex comedy feature films Alvin Purple and Alvin Purple Rides Again. Graeme Blundell reprises the role of Alvin in the series. Alvin cohabitates with a new character, flatmate Spike. As in the films various women inexplicably lust after Alvin. The women were played by a stream of recognisable Australian actors in guest starring roles including Tina Bursill, Jackie Weaver, Belinda Giblin, June Rich, Jane Harders, Pamela Gibbons, Kirrily Nolan, Peta Peita, Judy Lynne, Suzanne Church, Carla Hoogeveen, Chantal Contouri, Anya Saleky. Dawn Lake and Leonard Teale also acted in the series.
