Ronald Harris (and his twin brother Donald) are American twin brothers best known for their professional wrestling careers with promotions including Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and the World Wrestling Federation. They are now co-presidents of the Nashville, Tennessee-based Aro Lucha professional wrestling promotion. For the majority of their careers, the brothers performed as a tag team. They wrestled under their birth names and a variety of ring names, including Don & Ron Bruise (The Bruise Brothers); Patrick & Gerald (Creative Control); Skull & 8-Ball (The Disciples of Apocalypse); Jared & Jason Grimm (The Grimm Twins); and Eli & Jacob Blu (The Blu Twins). Souled Out 2000 took place on January 16, 2000 from the Firstar Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The originally scheduled card was heavily changed, due to the serious injuries of Bret Hart and Jeff Jarrett. Hart, who was scheduled to wrestle Sid Vicious, suffered a severe concussion at Starrcade, which forced him to vacate the WCW World Heavyweight title, and eventually retire nine months later. Jarrett, who was scheduled to wrestle Chris Benoit in a Triple Threat Theater series (Dungeon Rules, Bunkhouse, Caged Heat), suffered lingering headaches from Benoit's diving headbutt off the top of the steel cage on the January 10 episode of WCW Monday Nitro, which forced him to vacate the WCW United States Heavyweight title. Benoit was instead moved to take Hart's place against Vicious and the Triple Threat Theater series was contested between Billy Kidman and three separate wrestlers.

This show had a stacked lineup and the opening segment showed why and how the brand was so successful and that is they knew their audience and played each guy to his strengths. JT Smith cuts an Italian promo, BWO comes out like KISS, Sandman canes the hell out of all of them, Raven comes out with the Fullington family and suckers Sandman into a beating. As far as ring work, between all 7 of those guys, not a lot to crow about, but the crowd was rocking and rolling through each new moment as it come about.
