Chelsea Brown (December 6, 1942 - March 27, 2017) was born Lois Brown as an American actress, comedienne, singer and dancer perhaps best known for being the first African-American series regular in the iconic, ground-breaking American TV series Laugh-In. After Laugh-In she moved to Australia where she lived for many decades and enjoyed a long and successful career in film, TV and the stage. She recorded albums and had a very popular cabaret act in which she toured the world. She married Australian actor Vic Rooney who played her husband on the Aussie soap, E Street (1989-1990). After her husband's death, she moved back to her hometown of Chicago, Illinois where she had a large, extended family and many friends. Born : 6th-Dec-1942

"And Then They Forgot God" is set in a dystopian future, one in which the environment has suffered (people carry around breathing gear) and people must navigate extremely bureaucratic and rigid rules and procedures. Food is only available through the government, and only to those holding a monthly-issued card. Joe Campanella plays a husband who finds himself in desperate straits when his ration card is rejected because it was in poor condition when received. Despite an official policy that no one in that society goes hungry, Campanella's character receives no help.

Number 96

- Number 96 was a popular Australian soap opera set in a Sydney apartment block. Don Cash and Bill Harmon of the Cash Harmon Television production company, produced the series for Network Ten, which requested a Coronation Street-type serial, and specifically one that explored adult subjects. The premise, original story outlines, and the original characters were devised by David Sale who also wrote the scripts for the first episodes and continued as script editor for much of the show's run. The series proved to be a huge success, running from 1972 until 1977. Number 96 was so popular it spawned a feature film version, filmed in December 1973. Number 96 was known for its sex scenes and nudity, somewhat risque at the time, and for its comedy characters. The series was the first Australian soap opera to feature an openly gay character.

Matt Lincoln

- Matt Lincoln is a television medical drama which was aired by ABC as part of its 1970-71 lineup. Matt Lincoln starred Vince Edwards as Dr. Matt Lincoln, a psychiatrist who had founded a telephone hotline for troubled teenagers. He also operated a free walk-in clinic to help the needy with their mental health concerns, in addition to a private practice which apparently paid the bills for the other two endeavors. The focus of the program centered around the helpline, where he was assisted by Tag and Jimmy, two "hip" young blacks; Ann, an attractive young white woman, and Kevin, a somewhat cynical police officer. The show's theme tune, "Hey, Who Really Cares" was written by Oliver Nelson and Linda Perhacs, and a full version of the song appears on Perhacs' legendary album Parallelograms. Unlike Edwards' previous medical drama, Matt Lincoln never developed much of an audience and was cancelled at midseason.

Police Story

Mrs. McKay - Police Story is an anthology television crime drama. The show was the brainchild of author and former policeman Joseph Wambaugh and represented a major step forward in the realistic depiction of police work and violence on network TV. Although it was an anthology, there were certain things that all episodes had in common; for instance, the main character in each episode was a police officer. The setting was always Los Angeles and the characters always worked for some branch of the LAPD. Notwithstanding the anthology format, there were recurring characters. Scott Brady appeared in more than a dozen episodes as "Vinnie," a former cop who, upon retirement, had opened a bar catering to police officers, and who acted as a sort of Greek chorus during the run of the series, commenting on the characters and plots.
